All of us have a sense of belonging. We have a desire to be loved by people, particularly our family and friends. Our greatest need is to belong somewhere, especially to a family.
 

Many people think that they are children of God but sadly do-not belong to His family.
If your surname was Smith, the way you became a Smith, was by being born into the Smith family. You did not go somewhere and pay a great sum of money to obtain the surname; neither did you have to be educated before you became a Smith. You are a Smith, because you were born a Smith.
If you want to become a child of God, you have to be born into the family of God. That is the reason Jesus said in
John 3:3
Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
 

He was not talking about a physical rebirth, no, he was talking about a spiritual rebirth. For you see, all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God Romans 3:23  therefore, we all deserved the penalty for our sin i.e. Spiritual death ( separation from God).
But God in His great love for us sent The Lord Jesus Christ to die on the cross of Calvary to pay the penalty for your and my sin. God placed all the sin that we ever committed upon Jesus and he became our substitute.

2 Corinthians 5:21  For He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made to be the righteousness of God in Him.
In other words, Jesus became what we were , so that we could become what He is ..Hallelujah!!!
 

Many may ask , but how do I become a child of God ? The answer is so simple, by being born again. Well how do I get born again ?   I am so glad you asked.
Rom 10:9 -10 tells us…That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus ( that is to confess Him as your Lord) and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Acts 2:21
And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord ,(Jesus) shall be saved.

This is so profound and yet so simple.
 

Prayer of Salvation
Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and in need of a savior. Thank you for sending Jesus to be my substitute on the cross. I believe that Jesus died for my sin and was raised from the dead for my justification. Lord Jesus, I now confess you as my Lord and as my Saviour. Thank you for dying on the cross for me. I receive the free gift of salvation. Thank you Lord for saving me. Thank you that right now I am born again. I am a child of God.
 

The moment you confess Jesus as your Lord, and believe in your heart that God the Father raised him from the dead, the bible says you are saved. You are born again. You have become a new creature 2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ , he is a new creature (creation) old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.
 

Your sins have been forgiven, and your past forgotten. You received the very life and nature of God (eternal life).
Once you have received Gods free gift of salvation, you are now born again, a child of the most high God. You belong to God, you are His property.
Satin is no more your Lord , Jesus Christ is now your Lord and Saviour.
 

You have been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of Gods dear Son Colossians 1:13
That means that satin and everything he represents shall not lord it over you ever again.
 

John 10:10  tells us…the thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.
Jesus is not a thief, it is satin who is the thief. He is the one who robs people of their health, finance , relationships etc.
Jesus came that we might enjoy life to the full, till it overflows, praise God.
Now that you have been born again, you qualify for the abundant life Jesus came to give.
But this is only the starting point of your Christian walk.
Jesus also commanded us to be saved and baptized.
Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved…
This is a necessary step of obedience to Gods word. When we are baptized, it signifies the burial of the “old man” or old nature, for we are baptized into Christ i.e. In his burial and raised into newness of life.
 

By Baptism we identify ourselves with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Jesus also promised the gift of the Holy Ghost to all who believe.
The gift of the Holy Spirit
Acts 2:38-39
Then Peter said unto them, repent (turn- around from the way you are going) and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins , and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:1-4
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven , as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were at. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Many have made fun of the speaking in other tongues through their own ignorance and yet if they would read the Bible, they would understand that the evidence of being filled with the Holy Ghost is the speaking with other tongues.
Many have missed out on this great blessing which is for all believers.
Many lead defeated , powerless lives because they have never received the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.
The power comes after that the holy Ghost is come upon you….
 

Prayer : Heavenly Father I thank you for every person who reads this booklet, by faith I lay my hands on them to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for baptizing each one right now as they receive by faith. I expect them to right now receive and to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gives them utterance, in Jesus name amen.
